Men's Elite Mile

Been Here Before

Hayden Dressel
Mt. Spokane
Mt. Spokane Senior is ready to rock and roll. Expect a high finish.

Andy Monroe
Crater
One of Oregon's finest, could dip under 4:10 if the pace is hot.

Ahmed Muhumed
West Salem Future Bronco, looking for some redemption from last year. Expect a sub 4:10.

Alex Slenning
Wilson One of the favorites at 3,000m in Oregon, should be able to more than hold his own at this distance

Joshua Schumacher
Jesuit
Missed out on the event last year with injury, looks primed for solid showing after Centennial 3K.

Day Heat Last Year, Bright Lights This Year

Daniel Maton
Camas
One of two sophomores in the field. Dipped under 4:00 for 1500m last year in the day heat. Could dip under 4:15 for the full mile this year.

Caleb Seely
Wilson Future Idaho Vandal has looked strong all spring. Great foot speed late, could be dangerous off a slow pace.

Yacine Guermali
Camas Ran 8:34 in the 3K last year at Twilight and will look to run a quick mile on Friday.

Daniel Sealand
Jesuit Future CMS Stag, looking for a breakout performance at his bread and butter distance, the mile.

Andy Muha
Sunset 3:56 1500m runner from last year, who seems to always get overlooked but make no mistake he will be tough in this field.

Jenner Higgins
Sheldon The man with 1:54 800m credentials will test his strength at the mile distance. Like Seely, could be dangerous off a slow pace.

Mike McCausland
Central Catholic Another future Idaho Vandal, has great XC credentials. Expect him to turn some heads as he shows off his wheels in a stacked mile field.

Newcomers

Joe Waskom
Mt. Si
Mt. Si sophomore has excellent credentials across the board. Look for him to hop on the train and snag a nice PB

Nate Pendleton
Eastlake
Eastlake junior notched a 4:13 1600m a week ago in Bellevue. Comes in with great momentum and is a darkhorse to win the whole thing.

James Mwaura
Lincoln (WA)
Senior from WA ran 4:11 a week ago in the same Bellevue race. He clocked 8:54 for 3200m down at Arcadia. If their is a favorite coming into this race, its gotta be James Mwaura.

William Laird
Garfield
Senior out of Garfield HS has a best of 4:17 over 1600m. He should be looking for a sub 4:15 clocking over the full mile

Evan Thieme
Rocky Mountain
Senior from Rocky Mountain HS just clocked a 4:19 full mile at the Pasco Invite. He will look to mix it up with the lead pack and grab another PB somewhere in the neighborhood of 4:15.
