The sensational freshmen out of Idaho, has a PB of 4:26 for 1500m from earlier this month at Oregon Relays. It will be interesting to see how she attacks this race with such an impressive field behind her.
The junior from Sunset HS has the best foot speed in the field. With a 4:30 PB over 1500m from last year, if she can stay close, the race is hers to win.
The Summit HS senior squared off against Halladay a few weeks ago at Oregon Relays where she picked up a PB of 4:28. Expect her to be in the hunt late in the race
The Lake Stevens sophomore has only lost one open race in her first two years, at Brooks PR. With a 4:50 full mile PB she is going to be a tough out.
The sophomore from Jesuit has a 4:32 PB from last year, and she will look to mix it up for a top 3 finish.
South Eugene's stud freshmen has a 4:30 PB from 8th grade. She has had a nice start to her season and will look to improve and hopefully notch a new PB over the mile distance.
NXN's runner-up out of Sunset HS will look to make a splash in the mile. She ran 4:35 for 1500m last year and I am sure she is looking to better that mark.
St. Mary's Academy
The senior from St. Mary's Academy ran 4:35 for 1500m last year, and has had a solid start to the outdoor season. Expect her to hang tough and run close to 4:50 for the full mile distance.
Another talented freshman, this Sunset Apollo turned some heads during the fall with her 5th place finish at the 6A State Meet. She's got a 4:38 PB over 1500m from earlier this spring, so she will be in the mix late.
The junior from Sheldon HS ran 4:39 last spring and has had a great start this spring. She will look for a PB around 4:55 for the full mile.
The standout frosh from Jesuit HS had an impressive XC season notching a 17:41 5K. She has yet to run a quick 1500m, but she is ready to run around 4:55 for the full mile.
The senior from Lynnwood will look to match her PB of 4:55 for 1600m, which came back when she was a sophomore.
Hopping On The Train
Another junior from Sheldon HS, she has run 4:39 for 1500m and should look to better that mark on Friday night.
The Eastlake junior has great foot speed at 57.74a for 400m. She will test her strength against a stacked field.
The senior from Sam Barlow HS is coming off a nice 3K victory at the Centennial Invite last week. She will look to hop on the train and grab a PB for the full mile distance.
A sophomore from OES, she will be one of the lone small school representatives in the elite races this year. She has great foot speed and will look to hang around and use that speed to grab a sub 5 minute clocking.
Lewis and Clark
Fresh off victory at the Pasco Invite in 5:03, the junior should approach 4:55 with more competition on Friday night.
Mt. Si's senior will look to break 5 minutes for the full mile and notch a new PB in the process.
The Eastlake senior will make the trip down south in hopes of matching her 4:59 PB from last spring's WA State Meet.
